Expect the Unexpected

This is a very fun book. It's hard to put down. Genesis has had her memory wiped clean and she's groping around in the fog trying to find out who she is. Everyone else seems to know this secret and won't tell her anything they don't have to. The secret is revealed at the end of the story like a bomb dropping. I read the book a second time knowing the ending and the story really opened up. The action is going on from the beginning behind the scenes but the clues are there. Who do you think the identity of the body buried in the abandoned playground is? I have a very good theory of who it is, but I won't know for sure until the sequel comes out.... :)

Nothing as it Seems

This was a surprising read. I initially purchased it out of curiosity and then ended up enjoying the book. The plot is fast paced and has a couple points where the reader is able to come to conclusions along with Genesis. I felt connected to certain characters, particularly Genesis, who was such a strong female lead. She was refreshing in that she was not opposed to facing her darkest memories and who she used to be. I really enjoyed it.

Lots of Potential

The story is a good one and holds my interest. There are quite a few errors in the text that become somewhat annoying over time. The writing is a bit clunky and could use the help of an editor. All in all an interesting story idea and with some edits and revisions, this could be a very good read.
