A Great Bass Book

This book is great for all bass players. It contains just about every type of scale you can play on a bass in notation and tablature. It really helped me learn how to read notes. I highly recommend it.

This book contains lots of awful, inaccurate nonsense

Please don't waste your time on this book. The theory lessons are incomplete and contain gross, weird inaccuracies! But don't take my word for it. Show the lesson in this book titled "the seventh scales" to a good music teacher, and I guarantee they will tear it apart.

What a surprise

This was a replacement book that I first began using back in 1977..The original was falling apart and because of the cover change, I didn't know this was the same book just a different cover..Imagine my surprise. I am 100% happy about this purchase. I'm back to the 1 and 2 octave scale grind...thanks again
