Good the the beginner or novice

I bought this book hoping to improve my results. However this book is really meant for the beginner or novice to Pacific coast bottom fishing. On that note, I did pick up a few tips from it and am please to say it was an enjoyable read. If you're an old salt, this isn't the book for you, if you've never been rock or halibut fishing then there is plenty to take away from reading this book.
